2022 is the 25th anniversary year for BioM and the Munich Biotech Cluster”. With the support of the Biotech Cluster Management Organization, the life science region has developed into one of the most successful biotech clusters in Europe. To commemorate this success story, this year’s issue of the Biotechnology in Bavaria magazine is an anniversary publication in which, in addition to a foreword by Prof. Dr. Horst Domdey, two scientific articles from the network have also been published: Dr. Ulrike Kaltenhauser and Andreas Hauser report in their article on “Antibiotic Resistance: With basic research and data networking against the global challenge”, the researchers of the bayresq.net project IRIS report in their article about their research on an “immunotherapy against multi-resistant germs”.
