This year’s Pettenkofer Prize on the topic of “Innovative Methods for the Diagnosis of Viral Infections” has been awarded in a festive ceremony at the New Town Hall in Munich on the 6th of October. The prize is awarded to outstanding scientists who have distinguished themselves in the field of scientific and practical hygiene, medical microbiology or virology.
It goes to Prof. Dr. Cynthia Sharma and Prof. Dr. Chase Beisel from Würzburg for their outstanding work. Congratulations on this well-deserved award!
